Olympus Spits brings to you a Melbourne Based, Gyros catering service for Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements, Work Functions and more. Whether we bring the whole set up and cook at your event or prepare your feast and deliver it to you, your guests will be so full and satisfied, they might need a forklift to get home.

  • Freshly cooked on the spit, we serve mouthwatering Lamb & Chicken Gyros with yiayia’s homemade tzatziki recipe and authentic traditional pita.

  • Onsite live charcoal chicken cooked at your home, served hot with crispy chips and fresh salads for a crowd-pleasing feast.

  • We offer pig and lamb slow flame-roasted for over five hours over high-quality NSW Malleeroot charcoal, delivering incredible flavour and a crowd-pleasing atmosphere guests can’t get enough of.

  • Spoil your guests with more and have two caterers at your next event! We work in collaboration with one of Melbournes best pizza catering companies Slice of Perfection to bring you the combination of Gyros & Pizza Buffet.

  • Our ADD-ON options allow you to tailor your catering package specifically for the needs of the event.

Founded by longtime friends Matt and Jordan, who share over 15 years of friendship, Olympus Spits reflects their rich heritage. Jordan, hailing from a Greek family, and Matt, with roots in Italian culture, have both been inspired by their grandparents — Yiayia, Papou, Nonna, and Nonno — who instilled in them a love for food that brings people together.

  • Absolutely we do. You can place your order to be delivered by a specific time and we deliver it fresh to your door so you can let the party go on. Otherwise, we can come along to your event, set up our display and cook your food on site!

  • We cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Please note, although we are mindful of cross contamination, we do not operate in a gluten free environment and individuals with Celiac Disease need to be cautious.

  • We understand the accumulating cost of hosting an event. A standard delivery fee may apply of $200 if travelling further than 45 minutes. Please contact us for an individualise quote

  • You’ve paid for it so it’s yours. We’ll bring containers so you can pack all the leftovers for another feast the next day.
